10 月 2、3 日就是眾所期待的 PyCon TW 會期了！🤩
往年大家在會期的午餐期間，都可以拿著美味餐盒和身邊的會眾們聊天、認識新朋友。
今年大會因疫情改為線上，雖然沒辦法和新朋友們實體面對面交流，但 PyCon TW 的 Gather.Town 會場建蓋了一座休憩森林，讓大家可以在上面閒聊，另外也可以在 Discord 頻道上和大家分享自己的午餐🍱。
不過每天想午餐要吃什麼真的是一件很困擾的事！但大家不必擔心，PyCon TW 很貼心已經替大家安排好會期兩天的午餐餐點了～

台灣 Python 社群一年一度的盛會— Python 年會（ PyCon TW ）將於 10 月 2、3 日舉行。今年正好迎向第十年，不但有從史上最多（近百篇）的投稿中篩選出 37 場精彩議程，同時也是因應疫情、首次採取線上形式舉辦，讓會眾在家也能盡情參與。
自 2012 年起正式成立 PyCon Taiwan，許多全臺各地自願付出的志工們為了推動各項Python程式專案交流持續努力，九年間累積與會數千人次，成為臺灣數一數二規模的技術研討會。去年更在贊助商和會眾的支持之下，完成了首次移師南台灣，讓各地 Python 社群成長與彼此交流，創下出席 675 人次的成就。2021 PyConTW 為第十屆大會，線上參與人數可望再次打破歷年的參與紀錄！
今年的主題演講（Keynote）主要在回顧國內外 Python 社群的發展里程，國外講者邀請到資深 Python 開發者，現任 EuroPython 大會主席、PSF 基金會 Fellow、 PyDDF (Python meeting in Düsseldorf) 共同創辦人Marc-Andre Lemburg，來分享過去二十年Python社群耕耘成果。Marc-Andre Lemburg於 1994 年便開始了 Python 的開發工作，作為 Python 核心開發人員，他設計並實做了 Python 對 Unicode 的支援，並且貢獻了許多 CPython 核心相關的開發；同時，他也是多個知名開源專案的作者。來自香港的 Yenny Cheung 則從使用者體驗與開發角度，利用最新的 NLP 工具和基礎設施來建構 AI 助理。
主題演講另一焦點—致力於 Python 社群推廣的魏澤人老師，則將與會眾分享他在台灣推廣 Python 的心路歷程。魏澤人是陽明交大 AI 學院副教授，也是交大青年講座、木刻思首席數學家、Google Developer Expert(Machine Learning), AWS Educate Cloud Ambassador，花蓮.py 及 Google Developer Groups Hualien 的發起者，曾在東華大學應數系服務，也參與選訓數學奧林匹亞國手。

Sprints衝刺開發是 PyCon TW 2021 的活動之一，是一個聚集開源專案負責人、貢獻者、想貢獻但不知道從何開始的人的活動。在活動中，將會由專案領導人帶著他們專案待解決的問題、待開發的功能來現場分享與解說。讓會眾可以自由選擇加入有興趣的專案，進行一日的衝刺開發與貢獻專案。

國中時曾擔任過 #PyConTW 的講者，高中時是非學校型態實驗教育學生，並在當時加入 PyConTW 志工行列，擔任過兩年的議程組長！現在正值大三的年紀，目前在美國西雅圖的公司 Intentionet 擔任軟體工程師。

即將前往哥倫比亞大學資工系就讀的她，高中除了擔任北一女 AI 研究社社長，同時也在資安新創奧義智慧科技 (CyCraft) 實習，期間致力於建立 NLP 資安威脅情資分析系統，幫助團隊自動化分析大量資安資料以快速應對資安威脅，於 PyCon TW 2020 以及 IEEE International CyberHunt 2020 發表其研究成果。

李米蕙，台灣師範大學大一新生，高中為北一女AI研究社第二屆副社長，於2021年參加 GiCS 尋找資安女婕思，與隊友奪得高中職組創意發想賽第一名的佳績。
蔡仲淇，目前為高三生，曾任北一AI研究社第三屆社長，同為第一屆GiCS創意發想賽 高中職組第一名團隊的成員。

A:不會唷。這次 Young Inspirers 會在 8/14(六)的 13:30 到 17:00之間進行，包含2.5 小時的直播以及 1 小時在的 Gather Town 的交流機會

A: 當然可以!本次 Young Inspirers 將邀請三組講者，會在 Facebook / Youtube上 以 直播演講的方式進行，並提供會後的交流時間。我們非常歡迎大家在聽完這些優秀的講 者們的分享後，到 Gather 與講者們互動。

我們在前一篇提到為什麼要加入 Python 軟體基金會（ Python Software Foundation，PSF ）的基本會員，接下來我們要來說明如何提出申請、成為會員。
大致上的流程是先在 https://www.python.org 建立帳號，然後透過這個代表本人的帳號簽署行為準則（ Code of Conduct ）即可，是不是很簡單呢？下面是實際上每個步驟的截圖提供給大家參考。

PyCon Taiwan 2021 徵稿於 2021/3/1 正式展開，今年大會將移師回台北舉辦。
稿件分為演講 (Talk) 及專業課程 (Tutorial) ，可使用語言為：中文、英文、台語。
說明幾個今年徵稿的重點：
1. 演講 (Talk) 時間長度包含: 15 分鐘、 30 分鐘、45 分鐘。
2. 專業課程 (Tutorial) 地點會在會場內並且與會議同時進行，時間改為1.5小時。
3. 即使稿件最後未錄取，今年 PyCon TW 會將部分未錄取稿件 forward 至各社群，並提供部分交通補助。
4. 因應疫情關係，講者可自由選擇是否遠端演講。

The CfP for PyConTW 2021 is open!
There are two types of proposals you can submit: Talk and Tutorial.
Both can be given in either English, Mandarin or Taiwanese Hokkien.
We accept a broad range of Python-related proposals
Something different from PyConTW 2019 :
Talks will be lasting either 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 45 minutes.
Tutorials will be conducted at the same time as the meeting, and the time will be changed to 1.5 hours.
We will make some of the rejected proposals happen in local communities in Taiwan.
PyCon TW will partially provide financial aid for transportation.
